Beauty –
How I’m wearing my hair: Natural, no styling, just straightening and a “toss”.
Straightened & Half up, half down,
Adding clips – for an off the face vibe.
Natural blow dry – no straightening, and frizzy messy – with a nice outfit, it’s doing wonders! Embracing my natural hair and realising magazine models have natural frizz! Munich taught me a lot, so do others. I’m not shy about my frizz anymore, and I’m not shy to wear clips. I am constantly following influencers, with a perfect blow dry, which doesn’t work for me. I find inspiration and muses to change and create a new hair style.
Two words that stood out to me… healed & abundant.
Not to mention, the never-ending pool of gratitude. I’ve been saying to myself, “I am abundant”. I keep trying to say, “I am healing” but not noticing how much I have healed! Now my words to myself, are “I am healed”. One of my many imperfections is being too fast and not taking my time to smell the roses. I need to remind myself, that life is not a sprint, but a marathon. However, if that’s what I’m good at, I shall stick to it. And take more frequent rests and time to replenish my resources!
Love –
What is love? Love is underrated. It’s not just love for my loved ones, it’s loving myself, and loving my things, loving my day.
What I love doing…. getting dressed up for myself, doing my hair and taking myself on a coffee date.
I start my day slow, only to love the rest of it.
I love helping people. What do you love?
It’s finding and saying: “I love this”. For example, I love this song, I love this weather, I love this outfit etc. Which is different from loving my loved ones.
It’s in the little things. I love how every time I see my dog, I love him! He gets me every time with being adorable, I always show him love. But I love the way he sits on the bed, all cosy, and sweet. I love writing and fashion. I could break that down into a million different things! Love makes me count my blessings and focus on the good.
Books -
O, what my books have taught me! Lessons that get me expanding – deepening on the topic! O, how my books have expanded. From fiction classics to Business books, to spiritual books. Many lessons and many readings. A book has given me action towards my goals. For example, the blog, to upload a free pdf! Or exercise. Someone has sat down to explain it; someone has taken the time and effort to teach you something new.
I love people who share books, it’s more interesting that way!
Travel:
Travel is one thing to invest in, an experience, I can never travel “too much”. Memories that last a lifetime and learning new things. Travel is underrated. It’s brought me much joy and wealth. Wealth of knowledge, good looking places to see, food, culture, and places to visit.
I recently went to Paris – love it! The air, streets, fashion, style, accommodation, the standards, such a beautiful place. Even if it’s not, it’s Paris.
Recently, went to Venice – love! So beautiful, so unique.
Munich – good place, good city, honest, raw, authentic, structured, and organised. Old school city is mixed with modern people.
What have been your highlight travel destinations? Where would you love to go?
Dreams –
My dream outfits are coming alive. In Munich earlier this year, I wanted the pale pink outfit, today, I have it.
I wrote the dream brand and said: Anine Bing outfits - on my dreams list – and today, I have it!
I’ve had tonnes of good ideas for my life, and today, I am making them come true! Pop the Moet, book the restaurant, celebrate the date, wear the outfit – because that was all on my list of dreams and goals. Read the dream books. Of course, I don’t have it all. I don’t have my dream job – yet, or my dream house, (yet), but no one has everything! And it’s okay to be imperfect.
Currently…
Working on living a lavish lifestyle, living for the now, forgetting about my financial future! Doing kind acts of love and care. Donating money, spending money, and not making much money. Welcome to my imperfect life! I’ve had the “who needs money” mindset in my teenage years, and I am slowly changing that, however, it means I’m realising that not having money for the future, is not quite a good thing to be doing! But I’ll take it as it comes. I’ll notice the thoughts and let them go. In addition, take what I have & look at the options and start acting. I am happy. Moments of honesty, bring moments of clarity.
